Meteors was part of a service wing of Khan Akber & Co. Chartered Accountants which was established in 2012 and later has incorporated as an independent registered company and licensed with Ministry of Labour and Employment as contracting agency to provide EOR and Third-Party Employment service provided in Bangladesh.

After a careful study, Meteors found there is a big expectation gap between service providers and the service receivers with EOR & PEO solutions and identified one of the core reasons is lack of technical knowledge/skill regarding taxation, Labor Laws, and sophisticated HR practice.
As a Chartered Accountant and an ex-CFO&CHRO our founder realized that there are an ample space of value addition in HR practice, and can contribute to the companies to solve their EOR/PEO solutions compliantly and efficiently to keep both employees and employers’ interest at highest level at low cost.

Director & CEO
Khan is the Founder and CEO of Meteors Bangladesh Limited who is extremely passionate about new ventures with innovative ideas where technology and finance build a successful business , his professional acumen is equaled by his creativity and a firm belief in the power of possible. In his previous avatars, he worked for many businesses organization including was served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) at a leading Danish Stock Exchange Technology company.
Beside Meteors, he is playing a role as CEO & Partner at Khan Akber & Co. Chartered Accountants in Bangladesh. A Certified Public Accountant from Australia and A Chartered Accountant from Bangladesh, Khan holds a master’s degree in accounting and an alumnus of CXO program of National University of Singapore.

Jabin is the Co-Founder and Director at Meteors Bangladesh Limited. she leads the Partnership & HR Operations at Meteors. Prior to joining at Meteors, she worked for Big4 and was academician in a leading private university in Bangladesh in her early career.
Jabin holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Business School of University of Dhaka and bachelor’s degree in business administration from same business school.
Legal Counsel
Ms. Amina a leading corporate lawyer in Bangladesh. Her area of core expertise are Employment Law, Private Equity, Foreign Direct Investment, Corporate Finance and Restructure, Corporate Dispute & ADR, Taxation, Real Estate, Project Development & Permitting, M&A. She handles a client base includes numerous foreign Clients and big MNCs in Bangladesh.
She is long experienced in handling large scale corporate deals, agreements and negotiations, employment disputes. Ms. Khatoon’s expertise in the areas of corporate restructure is considered to be one of the finest in the country. She has established herself as an authority in the field of private sector corporate governance.
Consultant
Tanvir is the Senior Consultant at Meteors Bangladesh Limited. He leads the Meteors payroll compliance team to ensure compliance practice at highest level in regard to payroll and employee taxation. He also take care the expat services like, expat taxation, outward remittance, work visa, immigration service, security clearance, tax clearances during exit for the foreign employees and etc.
Tanvir is a seasoned tax professional and holds bachelor’s degree in business administration from Business School of Northern University Bangladesh.
